Training: Storytelling and Role Play

This highly practical workshop will help you to develop your own skills as a storyteller through practical activities and is aimed at new entrants to the early learning and childcare workforce or for those who wish to develop their practice.

Course outline
It is a fun and interactive course designed to improve practice around engaging with children through rhymes, storytelling and role play.
New ideas and extension of learning through storytelling skills, rhymes and use of language.
Improving practice on identifying resources such as story lines, talking tubs and many more to support language development and creative experiences.

Learning Outcomes
Practitioners will gain practical knowledge and increased confidence in supporting children’s development and language through this media.

Certification and renewal
A certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
