Training: Let’s Play Outdoors

For staff in early years and out of school care.
This course aims to raise the profile of play and deepen an understanding for practitioners in supporting play experiences to improve outcomes for children of all ages. When children play with loose parts their creativity and confidence will grow and develop.

Practitioners will gain knowledge and understanding of play theory and the benefits of play in order to provide:
Confident practice in facilitating play outdoors
Confident practice in articulating children’s experiences of play in promoting learning, health and wellbeing.
Certification and renewal
A certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of the course.
Delivered By: Aberlour Futures Play Development Staff and will include a trip to Duthie Park.
